Great images, as usual, Jake! But how can I pick only ONE favorite spot? This is going to be VERY difficult…and I’m sure I will have to show more than one…but there is one thing you can be sure of…I will definitely connect your Sunday post theme to parenting.
Oh, I wanted to share with you that i was invited to speak at the 2013 Asian Festival of Children’s Content that takes place in Singapore in late May/early June! I’m not sure if I will be able to work it out…but I was honored to be asked.

This was wonderful, Jake. When I was eleven, we had a student teacher who decided that every day when we came to class we’d find our name tag on a different desk than the day before. He said it would make us more creative to lose our favorite places. At first it just made us confused and nervous, but after awhile we saw it as a game and got used to it.
This post reminded me how I compensated that semester when I was eleven. I created a new favorite place in the corner of my bedroom at home, and no one was allowed to upset it. We NEED our favorite places sometimes!

No – I hadn’t forgotten about you or your challenges. I have been diligently trying to create a new photography blog. I have a lot of favorite places, but if pressed would probably have to declare the recliner in my study as my favorite spot. I sure do spend a lot of time there. Or, maybe my rocker on our screened-in porch, but that’s only good in comfortable weather.
Does it take you a long time to create thes images, or are you fairly quick at it?
